Acoustic Alchemy

Doug Pinson’s first completely demo-style album is a raw spectacle of stories and emotions over a spectrum of country-rock rhythms. The lead track, “Behind These Eyes”, appears to denote a throwback to the somber styles of “Lonely Tears”, but he quickly follows it up with the energetic “Get Ready To Get Rowdy”. The rest of the album follows suit – as the alchemist turned lead into gold, Doug Pinson weaves sounds into stories with “Acoustic Alchemy”.
